Jonathan Young Biographical Sketch

Jonathan Young, PhD is a minister and psychologist who assisted mythologist Joseph Campbell at seminars and went on to serve as the founding curator of the Joseph Campbell Archive and Library. Dr. Young is seen in many documentary films, especially on the History Channel. His books and articles focus on personal mythology.

Dr. Young is now retired as a professor having taught at several universities and at the Pacifica Graduate Institute. He is the minister at the Live Oak Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Goleta, a suburb of Santa Barbara, California.
